Chicago is one of the major tourist and conference destinations in the United States. 

LSWO Conference 2010 Hotel Preference:

The preferred Marriot Medical Center is not available. Therefore, we recommend that you go to Hotels.com or Expedia.com for hotel rooms. Any hotel in the Downtown Chicago area will work for you. The conference site is very accessible by the Chicago Transit Authority.

Access to Chicago and the 2010 Conference

Airports: Chicago O’Hare Airport and Midway Airport provides you with many options.  Both airports have Public Transportation to the Downtown Area of Chicago.

Public Transportation: Chicago Transit Authority has many connections to the University of Illinois Conference site (By bus/train).  (No need to rent a car)

Hull House Museum: This museum is a must for all social workers to visit. Visiting this museum will motivate you to strive for the best.
